Business owner, publisher share enthusiasm for EnterCircle

EnterCircle 2023 invites more than 25 speakers to share their stories of thriving and finding purpose in the work they do. The three-day summit gives these speakers a platform to motivate entrepreneurs across generations and industries, through informative TED style discussions, panels and interactive breakout sessions.

This year, EnterCircle welcomes speaker Sonya Morales-Marchisillo and sponsor The Ponte Vedra Recorder.

Morales-Marchisillo, founder and owner of Pinnacle Communications, is excited to speak at EnterCircle because she believes her story will inspire women to collaborate with each other and walk in their own power.

“The one thing I want to talk about is championing women. Too many times we are in competition with each other … We aren’t expected to collab and communicate and there needs to be more of that and it needs to be showcased,” Morales-Marchisillo said.

Morales-Marchisillo will speak at one of two Women in Business panels at the Women’s Day program on Nov. 17. The program consists of panel discussions on women in business and tech, leadership lessons, mastering work-life balance and a business expo for woman-owned businesses.

Since she started Pinnacle Communications with her two daughters four years ago, Morales-Marchsillo has seen immense growth in her company, and she aspires to keep her seat at a table where few women have sat.

“What I wanted to do was show the girls that we can push the needle and we can help because only 5% of women are in technology … We wanted to give women a hand-up in tech.”

She hopes that attendees at EnterCircle will see her as a proven concept for success, even in male-dominated fields. According to Morales-Marchisillo attending events like EnterCircle is the first step toward shattering glass ceilings.

Susan Griffin, publisher of The Ponte Vedra Recorder, also believes that EnterCircle will promote growth and impact the community of Northeast Florida. To her, EnterCircle is a great opportunity for businesses to promote themselves.

“I think with the growth that is coming into St. Johns County, which has the highest income in the state of Florida, it’s important to get your name out there with all the new people that move in. EnterCircle is a great opportunity to put your name out there so people know who you are,” Griffin said.

The Recorder has been a supporter of EnterCircle for the past two years, with this year marking its first year as a sponsor.

Griffin is most excited for the impact Women’s Day will have on women entrepreneurs in the area.

“I think it’s really an opportunity for people to know there are so many women in power and are entrepreneurs and women business owners … I think it’s important to recognize how powerful women are in the business sector these days,” Griffin said.

A full agenda for the day can be found at entercircle.zone as well as information on how to purchase tickets and expo tables for the Premier Business Showcase & Awards Night (Nov. 15) and Women’s Day (Nov. 17).
