Link celebrates graduates in Youth Leadership Program

On May 19, the link wrapped up its Youth Leadership Program and offered its congratulations to the class of 2026.

Over the past eight months, the Youth Leadership students explored a different United Nations Sustainable Development Goal each month through meaningful conversations, educational games, assignments and hands-on activities designed to expand their understanding of global issues and the impact they can make in their communities.

Throughout the program, students also developed valuable real-world skills through public speaking practice, leadership development activities, job interview preparation and collaborative discussions that challenged them to think bigger and lead with purpose.

The students gave presentations on the Sustainable Development Goals that resonated with them most and received their Certificates of Completion and volunteer hours. Their innovative ideas, thoughtful perspectives and passion for creating change offer hope for the future.

Applications for the class of 2027 will open at the end of June.
