The Grand Opening of the link at Nocatee was a celebration that brought together people with different skills, interests, and backgrounds from the greater North Florida area. Attendees represented the spheres of politics, business, innovation, arts, and culture in an array of speakers and performances. Hundreds of people attended the three-day opening celebrations filling the space with a spark of new ideas, concepts, connections, and friendships.
Over the week, the link saw increased uptake and awareness for co-working space on level two. Of which new members have booked all private office suites. However, there are a few floating desks, dedicated desks, and meeting spaces still available for booking to use the area. Programming has continued to blossom as the link team listens to the community for what they want to do in the space. Summer Camps hosted at the link have brought youth out of their homes and into a space to learn - play - think - do with newfound friends and instructors from the community. It has been rewarding for the link team and its partners to see the next generation participate in a robust selection of activities under one roof.
When our team asked Raghu Misra, Founder of the link, what he enjoyed the most from these three-day celebrations, he said:
